Orgasm headache

Orgasm headaches during or after the orgasm are thought to be caused by an increase in blood pressure, which causes the blood vessels in the head to dilate. The pain can be intense and may appear just before or during orgasm. It can last for minutes or several hours.

Prevention of Orgasm headache :

The following may help:

Two aspirin or paracetarnol tablets before intercourse
A cool shower or ice pack to the back of the neck before intercourse
Keeping as cool as possible during lovemaking
Keeping the head as elevated as possible during lovemaking
A strong cup of coffee before intercourse could constrict the blood flow to the head.

The exertional headache

This headache may have a sharp or stabbing quality and may last minutes or hours. People who are prone to headaches often suffer from this type. Physical exercise, lifting, stooping or even coughing, sneezing or yawning (which can also be a sign of low blood sugar or air hunger) can bring it on. Perhaps the headache associated with lovemaking also comes into this category.

Hairdressing headache

Some people get a dull headache after a visit to the hairdresser's, where they have held their head back over the basin for a shampoo. The headache arrives later in the day or the following morning. It can be. avoided by bending forward over the basin.
