The worst part is that, some people are even afraid to exercise because of the extreme pain they get when they do so. Is this the reason for obesity? Some people try to work through it, but find it to get worse the more they exercise. What can you do about it?
WHY does exercising cause headaches?First off, if you get a headache when exercising, it could lead to very serious health problems, so you are advised to see a health professional immediately. For the majority of us, there is not a serious reason for why this is all happening. Simply over-working your body may be the reason. This is mostly related to sports in which you push yourself to the limit, such as weightlifting.
A handful of ways to stop the terrible pain1. Make sure you warm up before and cool down afterwards. Try doing some easy exercise, such as jumping jacks, at the beginning and end of each workout. Not only can this eliminate the headaches and migraines, it can avoid muscle soreness, which can lead to headaches as soon as you get home. 2. Start slowly. Don’t do too much too quickly. You might want to start with a walk or short jog daily. As soon as your body is used to the walk or jog, move on to something harder, until you are ready to get to what you want to do. 3. Keep hydrated. 4. Keep away from exercise that has long breaks. This can cause muscles to tense up, and cramp. 5. If you still get headaches, take some Ibuprofen(Advil, Aleve) before working out, preferably 20 minutes before hand. 6. Try doing less-strenuous activities. 7. Taper slowly. Don’t stop suddenly. After running for an hour, walk for 15 minutes.
